Isaiah Nelson is a Partner at McKenna Media. Isaiah began his career as a White House intern under President Obama more than a decade ago, and has since gone on to manage and help guide top races at the local, statewide and national level.
At McKenna Media since 2018, Isaiah has led the strategy for hundreds of clients up and down the ballot – from President Biden’s Super PAC Unite the Country, competitive statewide races, key executive offices and contested caucus programs. Some of Isaiah’s ads for Unite the Country have been the top performing pro-Biden ads on air, and his work helped to flip the PA House in 2022 by re-electing members in Trump leaning seats and defeating a 30 year incumbent outside of Philadelphia in Chester County. Isaiah is also proud to have helped the Indiana House Democrats flip seats over the last 6 years and flip the first State Senate seat in South Carolina in more than 15 years in electing Sen. Dick Harpootlian. He also elected mayors, legislators and sheriffs in Oregon, South Carolina and New York, and held the GOP accountable for dangerous legislation in states like North Carolina.
Isaiah lives in Washington D.C. with his fiancée Mary Elizabeth and dog, Corey, and he serves on the Honors College Advisory Board for his alma mater, the College of Charleston.
