Isaiah Nelson

Isaiah comes to McKenna Media after running progressive campaigns and advocacy organizations throughout the southeast for the last decade.  With a political science degree from the College of Charleston (and a former Student Body President of the College, go Cougars!), Isaiah got his start in politics as a 2011 White House Intern.  Since, he led teams on targeted local, congressional and statewide campaigns throughout the South.  Outside of his work in electoral politics, he also has led advocacy organizations and projects throughout the south, working on issues of urban livability, teen pregnancy prevention, and conservation.  Most recently, Isaiah helped to set up the campaign for Rep. James Smith, a leading candidate in the South Carolina Governor’s race.
