In his 2023 win, Freddie O’Connell’s come from behind victory was propelled by television ads that set him apart from the crowded field. On primary election night, political reporter Dave Weigel tweeted: O’Connell has one of the cycle’s best ads, memorably highlighting his vote against the Titans stadium deal.

Mayor Joyce Craig (Manchester, NH)

In 2017, Mayor Joyce Craig became the first-ever woman mayor of Manchester, NH and the first Democratic mayor in nearly 15 years. She has since established herself as one of the most effective and hardworking public servants in New Hampshire. Councilwoman Ruthzee Louijeune (Boston, MA)
