Diana Astiz is a Principal at McKenna Media. Before joining the firm, Diana spent 8 years helping Democrats win U.S. Senate races in some of the most competitive and high profile campaigns across the country. She served in leadership positions at the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and Senate Majority PAC where she played a day-to-day, hands-on role with campaigns helping them develop both their messaging and strategies. At Senate Majority PAC she helped Democrats win the U.S. Senate majority. And at the DSCC, she helped guide Senate Democrats to achieve their most successful midterm since 1934 and the best overperformance in a Presidential cycle in over a decade, winning four seats in states won by Trump. Diana got her start working in research at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee in the 2012 and 2014 cycles before becoming the research director on statewide races in Kentucky and Pennsylvania. Diana is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and lives in Washington, DC.
